Haley Reinhart arrived in Nashville last Thursday to join Scott Bradlee, and Postmodern Jukebox for part of their North American Tour! The tour kicked off in Boston on April 30th. Haley just now joined them, but she didn’t miss a beat, jumping right in to perform all of her PMJ covers with the band flawlessly, despite being sick with a cold. First song of the night was “Lovefool”, her latest cover with the band which was released the day of the show.

It’s Throwback Thursday! Which means Postmodern Jukebox’s newest video was released today. This is Haley’s 3rd solo cover with PMJ so far.
“Lovefool” by The Cardigans was their song choice this time around. You might not remember which song it is by the title, but everyone’s heard it at least once in their lifetime. Scott Bradlee and Haley took this 1990’s hit and transformed it into a 1940’s Frank Sinatra-esque jazz classic.
There’s nostalgia all around with this one, Haley and her old band “Reinhart & The Rastitutes” performed Lovefool years ago before her time on American Idol at a Yacht Club concert. Watch below:
Since then, many years and endless experience have come by and Haley sounds as incredible as ever with this lovely new cover:

Haley was invited to join the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West for the first night of their 7 day Southern California Tour, at the Valley Performing Arts Center located on the CSUN (California State University of Northridge) campus.
The event began at 7:30pm. Despite the pouring rain in LA that evening, a big crowd of young and old filled the beautiful VPAC.
Haley sang two songs with the fifty piece band, starting with Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”:
Last but not least, they performed Haley’s original song “Love is Worth Fighting For”. Haley stated that this song will be on her upcoming EP! It probably won’t sound anything like this version, but either way it was a real treat to hear it played to this capacity of instrumental.
Here are two videos from different perspectives of this performance:
The USAF Band of the Golden West expressed great gratitude towards Haley and what a privilege it was to perform with her. And vice versa!
@BandGoldenWest It was an absolute pleasure performing with you all last night! Thanks for learning my tune & for all that you do! See ya’s!
Some exciting stuff took place last week regarding Haley and her new music. Accompanied by guitarist Daniel Wills, Haley played her entire EP for the ole team at The Hit Factory Criteria Recording Studios in Miami, Florida.
Haley was back in New Orleans spending some time with her family at Jazz fest last week. Conveniently, Haley’s dad Harry Reinhart was able to accompany her on guitar to help do some shows down in New Orleans as well later that week.
On the morning of April 29th, they played for a Bose company conference at the Hyatt Regency, New Orleans.

Haley and her dad performed an acoustic performance of “Creep” at the event, which you can watch below:
Later on that day, Haley surprised the company and did a late night set for their party at the Hard Rock Cafe, New Orleans.
Sounds like an awesome day for those Bose employees! Haley was even gifted a pair of sound proof Bose headphones.
Postmodern Jukebox teamed up with Mashable.com to premiere this week’s new video, along with a nice write up about Scott Bradlee, his success, and going on a world tour.
Posted to The Watercooler’s YouTube channel instead, singers Annie Goodchild and Von Smith help create vintage cover of Taylor Swift’s song, “Style”.
“Inspired by the lyrics “James dean look in your eye”, Postmodern Jukebox Turns Taylor Swift’s “Style” into a vintage doo wop song.”
Haley and Casey sing back up vocals and the “shoo be doo wahs” for this fun “Grease” like cover.
Check it out!
