Haley Reinhart Performs For Bose

Haley was back in New Orleans spending some time with her family at Jazz fest last week. Conveniently, Haley’s dad Harry Reinhart was able to accompany her on guitar to help do some shows down in New Orleans as well later that week.

On the morning of April 29th, they played for a Bose company conference at the Hyatt Regency, New Orleans.

Haley and her dad performed an acoustic performance of “Creep” at the event, which you can watch below:

Later on that day, Haley surprised the company and did a late night set for their party at the Hard Rock Cafe, New Orleans.

Sounds like an awesome day for those Bose employees! Haley was even gifted a pair of sound proof Bose headphones.

Haley Reinhart Performs For Dedicated Crowd at French Quarter Festival

Haley Reinhart was back in New Orleans last weekend to perform their jazzy renditions of Led Zeppelin and Queen classics with Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra at the French Quarter Festival. Things were looking grim at first, the rain was pouring and there was a possibility of the show being cancelled. But fortunately the rain stopped just in time for Haley, Irvin, and the NOJO!

Fans who stuck around through the wet weather got to see Haley perform:

“Crazy Little Thing Called Love”

“We Are The Champions”

“Dazed and Confused”

Local news reporter Rob Krieger was there to talk to Haley about the festival and New Orleans: “Not only is it free and everyone gets to come on by, all the neighborhood cats, but we’re right on the Mississippi river and it’s a beautiful view and everyone gets to soak up the view and the food and the music. It’s by far, the coolest city, I think, and I come from a cool city, Chicago, but I live in LA and that’s a cool place, but there’s nothing quite like New Orleans and it’s originality. You guys are super authentic in every aspect, and I really dig it.” (via fox8live.com)

You can watch the interview with Rob and Haley here.

It sounds like everyone, including Haley, had a great time!

Check out these videos of the “Dazed and Confused” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” performances:

Haley Reinhart, Irvin Mayfield, and the NOJO Jazz Up Rock Classics

Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, featuring Haley Reinhart jazzed up Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, and Queen classics at the House of Blues in New Orleans this past Thursday night.

Jazz and classic rock are probably the top two genres that people love to hear Haley cover. So, when you combine the two, magic is bound to happen. An event like this is pretty unique and rare, which explains why the show was sold out.

Haley looked absolutely amazing in her one of a kind Alyce Paris gown:

Haley sang five songs, from a setlist that featured a total of thirteen songs:

Luckily for those who couldn’t be in attendence, @HaleysTusk was able to record each of Haley’s performances. Enjoy!

“Crazy Little Thing Called Love”

“The Man Who Sold the World”

“We Are The Champions”

“Smells Like Teen Spirit”

“Dazed and Confused”

Haley, Irvin, and the orchestra sounded absolutely stellar. Haley has now accompanied Irvin and the NOJO for a variety of events now. This one was by far the most epic of them all (for now). It’s great to see Haley reconnect to her jazz roots (in awesome fashion) every once in awhile thanks to Irvin. Can’t wait to see what’s in store next!

Haley Reinhart University of New Orleans Interview

While down in New Orleans for the big House of Blues show that took place Thursday night with Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Haley Reinhart sat down for an hour-long admirable, and educating interview by none other than Irvin Mayfield himself at the University of New Orleans.

Irvin starts off with giving what appears to be a college class a brief summary about Haley and how her musical roots sprouted from her family in Chicago, and lists many of her big musical accomplishments over the years. For a good portion of the interview, Haley dishes out all of the details about what auditioning for American Idol is really like, on and off camera. You’ll definitely learn things you didn’t know about the show by watching this interview. Also, you’ll definitely learn things you didn’t know about Haley by watching this interview as well.

Irvin asks many questions about her life before, during, and after American Idol. Also what making the transition to Los Angeles, and pursuing her dreams has been like, the good and the bad!

This is a wonderful interview to watch. Haley’s humble, honest self, and her intelligence and insight on her career really make you respect her even more for the true artist and human being that she is. This is an interview that you do not want to miss. It’s a bit long, but well worth the watch!
