Haley Reinhart’s Better Tour Highlights

It’s been 5 years since the world was first introduced to Haley Reinhart on American Idol. Since then, we have witnessed some pretty great accomplishments. Such as her debut album “Listen Up!“, or the release of her crowd funded music video for “Show Me Your Moves“. Putting out videos that have received millions of hits with Postmodern Jukebox, and going out on tour with them. Recording her own rendition of Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love” which blew up in an Extra Gum commercial. And just recently the release of her sophomore album, “Better“. Finally, Haley Reinhart is out on her well deserved first ever headlining tour, “The Better Tour” in support of her new album.

Joined by a full band (John Notto on guitar, Ray Moore on drums, Jacob Lutrell on keys, and Thomas Drayton on Bass), Haley put on an hour and a half set, performing every song from the new album “Better“, along with a few songs from the first album and some covers. Fans were able to purchase V.I.P. tickets, which allowed them early entry in the venue to experience part of soundcheck, and a meet and greet with Haley.

The U.S. tour stopped in 17 cities, starting in Petaluma, CA and ending Asbury Park, NJ. Haley will be extending the tour in parts of the UK and Europe in September-October.

Haley Reinhart Performs with the USAF Band of the Golden West

Haley was invited to join the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West for the first night of their 7 day Southern California Tour, at the Valley Performing Arts Center located on the CSUN (California State University of Northridge) campus.

The event began at 7:30pm. Despite the pouring rain in LA that evening, a big crowd of young and old filled the beautiful VPAC.

http://www.valleyperformingartscenter.org

A bio of Haley was featured in the VPAC program:

Haley sang two songs with the fifty piece band, starting with Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”:

Last but not least, they performed Haley’s original song “Love is Worth Fighting For”. Haley stated that this song will be on her upcoming EP! It probably won’t sound anything like this version, but either way it was a real treat to hear it played to this capacity of instrumental.

Here are two videos from different perspectives of this performance:

The USAF Band of the Golden West expressed great gratitude towards Haley and what a privilege it was to perform with her. And vice versa!

It was great honoring and thanking our veterans, while enjoying the music of this truly incredible band.
