It’s been seven years since Steven Tyler was a judge on Haley Reinhart’s season of American Idol. The two of them always seemed to have a special connection right from the start, and Steven always recognized Haley for her true talent.
Since Season 10 ended, Haley has kept in touch with Steven over the years. They both share the same lawyer, Dina LaPolt, and she recently attended his inaugural charity event called “Janie’s Fund”.
Now, Haley is set to open for Steven Tyler and the Loving Mary Band at Ribfest in Naperville, IL Saturday July 7th!
A night full of special guests, new songs, and a whole lot of Rock and Roll, Haley Reinhart put on one hell of a (sold out) show for those at Hollywood’s Troubadour late last Thursday night. It was her second show at the historic venue, where she hasn’t headlined since July of 2015. Opening for Haley were artists Steffan Argus and Drew Dolan.
Her first big solo public performance of the year was one for the books, where Haley brought fan favorites to the stage including, “Oh My!” for the first time in ages, this time including the rap bridge, but done in a style uniquely “Haley”. On several songs, Haley brought the crowd into the performance as they sung along on songs like “Let’s Start”, “Expensive Taste”, and “Light My Fire”.
Among the guest performers, Catie Turner from ABC’s debut season of American Idol, joined Haley on a duet of a Britney Spears classic, “Oops!… I Did It Again”. Scott Bradlee, creator of Postmodern Jukebox, was on keys.
Scott also accompanied the stage for “Sunny Afternoon”, from Haley’s third studio album, What’s That Sound? which he featured on. And of course, “Creep”.
All the way from Chicago, parents Harry and Patti-Miller Reinhart joined their daughter on stage to perform a few songs, including a three part harmony “Centerpiece”, and a mom-daughter duet of “White Rabbit”.
The Troubadour was the perfect place to premiere a new original song, a rousing and rollicking balls out, and possibly her hardest hitting song to date (sure to please the rocker fans), “Expensive Taste”.
One of the top highlights of the night was when Haley brought out her final special guest, Robby Krieger of The Doors to perform “Light My Fire”, which Robby wrote when he was just a teenager. It was truly a special moment to witness.
Be sure to check out some exclusive footage of the special guests and their kind words about Haley below:

After being postponed late last summer, Haley Reinhart was finally able to take on her first ever headlining European Tour. While it was short but sweet, Haley visited ten different cities starting in Poland late May, and ending in Ireland early June. Europe has waited a long time to see Haley on a solo endeavor, and it was definitely worth the wait.
Backed by her full band, some of which returning from Haley’s U.S. Better Tour, their chemistry was undeniable, consisting of (from left to right as pictured below) Music Director & Keyboards: Jesse Elder, Drums: Ray Moore, Guitar: John Notto, Bass: Darwin Johnson.
Haley debuted new outfits, new covers, and some would even say a new energy on stage for the diverse European crowds. Enjoy the highlights from every show on tour below:

Former American Idol contestants Anthony Fedorov (fourth place, season 4), Casey Abrams (sixth place, Season 10), Haley Reinhart (third place, season 10), and Clark Beckham (season 14 runner up) were invited to be celebrity judges for Rally Idol’s second fundraising concert last weekend at the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta Georgia. The concert featured children who either have fought childhood cancer, or had family members who have died from it. This was Haley’s and Anthony’s second time judging this event, after being so touched by the incredible children and their stories from the first Rally Idol back in 2014, it was an easy yes to return to help support this worthy cause.
Over 800 people attended this year’s concert, and more than $135,000 was raised for childhood cancer research! Enjoy photos from this event courtesy of Chuck Robertson Photography:

“Audrey’s busy lifestyle changed suddenly when she was diagnosed with a stage lll ovarian germ cell tumor at age eight. Her surgeon removed a three-pound tumor, her right ovary, and several lymph nodes. Her surgeries were followed with six rounds of chemotherapy. Today Audrey celebrates life at full speed in every direction with a smile!” via rallyidol.org
